The Stags shot a season-best 63 percent from the floor and 62 percent from three-point range against Norfolk State. Before that performance, Fairfield had not shot better than 46 percent in any game this season. The team hit that field goal percentage (.457) against Sacred Heart in the season opener.
And one of those games was against St. Joseph, a team that allowed teams to shoot 48 percent on the floor.
