According to the Niagara message board, Junior guard Austin Cooley will be leaving Niagara University.
Cooley played in 31 games last year for the Purple Eagles and averaged 4.5 points per contest. He was expected to compete for a starting job this season with the loss of Niagara's senior class. This could obviously be a big impact for the Niagara team this year. However, we all know that this will be a rebuilding team.
There is no official word if this rumor is true and Cooley still appears on the Niagara website.
